  This incredible triangular lake is named after the trilogy of gods in the Hindu religion. This lake is known to be covered by snow peaks for most of the year. It is considered very auspicious to take a bath in this lake in the ekadasi of each month, according to the Hindu religion.

• 2. Brahma Kapal:
  

  Brahma Kapal is a spot near the Badrinath temple where it is considered very auspicious to perform the Shraddha of ancestors.

• 3. Vasudhara Falls:
  

  This falls lies about 3 km from the mana village and is a famous tourist place of Badrinath. Prominent peaks of ranges like Balkum, Chaukhamba and Satopanth are known to lie close to this site and thus attract many potential visitors.

Though there are several other places of prominence, like Leela Dhongi and The Urvasi temple, there are several others that cannot be visited by car. The Vasuki Tal, for example, is a lake that needs a trek of 8km and is followed by 14 200 feet to ascend.
